Cakasa (Nigeria) Company Limited is a preeminent oil and gas firm involved in the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of oil and gas facilities and related services. Cakasa has a well rounded team of 350 engineers involved in oil and gas EPC projects. Our engineering group designs both onshore and offshore facilities. Most of our personnel have experience working alongside top EPC contractors internationally. All are skilled in using engineering design software tools.

In addition to EPC, Cakasa’s competencies include welding and fabrication, soil improvement, and operation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities. Six strategic business units - in Abuja, Kaduna, Eket, Port Harcourt, Warri, and Lagos – cater for clients in each region.

For 20 years, Cakasa has exclusively represented major equipment vendors in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa, and we have set a national standard for technical training of engineers and artisans.

In Nigeria, we have set a landmark for providing technical training for engineers and artisans, and our community relations plan is purposefully focused in ensuring a cordial and peaceful co-existence with the host communities in our areas of operation.

Part of the gains of our strategic alliance with Fluor is the provision of Fluor specialists in the key engineering disciplines to train our personnel in the engineering design office here in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Cakasa personnel are also seconded from time to time to a Fluor engineering execution center outside Nigeria to participate in the design of major projects where Fluor work processes, design standards, systems, practices, and organizational network are acquainted with. The secondment and the Fluor specialist are a key element in the development and training of the Cakasa personnel for executing projects that will meet international quality assurance requirements.

Cakasa understands the need for sustainable development, and we are committed to the concept and the use of local resources. We support the continuing education of Nigerians in engineering, project management, construction management and the disciplines that support project execution. We will continue with our plan of employing local talent and developing them to a world class team of engineers, designers, and support specialists. Nigerian nationals are contributing to every discipline required for project execution.

We expect the mix of Fluor technology development expatriates (domiciled here in our office to provide technology transfer) and Cakasa personnel to change remarkably over the next few years as Cakasa personnel acquire the experience and skills to perform the work.
